Community Conservation Grant Program
Grant funding is available for conservation projects related to education or resource protection!
Our Community Conservation Grant Program was created in 2017 and has funded numerous conservation related projects and education events within the county. Each year the District offers this competitive grant funding for local groups and organizations to seek funding from our office of up to a $1,000 for conservation projects and/or education. This grant opportunity is aimed towards schools and organizations.
Project proposals should be related to conservation and/or conservation education. Some examples could include; educational trail construction, educational signage/brochure, native wildflower plantings, wildflower gardens, installation of a rain garden, agriculture, construction/installation of habitat for wildlife or the purchase of an educational model.
